Re: sand/gravel background

Karen Randall wrote about using dental cement to repair pieces of slate
that fell off her paladurium background.

Another way to repair pieces of slate that fall off might be the
underwater epoxy putty that the reef keepers are using to cement coral
fragments and live rock. It's available in several different colors.
You'll have to clamp the pieces together with rubber bands until it
cures but it does work underwater. The trick is to ensure the pieces
are clean and free of algae.

The epoxy putty is available through mail order and also at many LFS.
