I used to remove dying leave from my tank. But it's been done cycling,
and algae is not much of a problem anymore (mystery snail helps). So I
just leave leaves (pun) to break down gracefully. It may be releasing
nutrients during the break down that the other plants are using, and as
long as there is not algae problem, I figure that's a good thing. I
wonder if anyone else can shed some light on this subject?
