Just a comment to generate thought: I bought a 20 high at a yard sale last summer that was complete, still containing two inches of gravel under 3/4" of pond snail shells. I think at that level, snails can seriously affect the total bio-load, and all that it impacts. When keeping certain snails, it is important to figure out what to do for population control. Bob Dixon
