You've got it backwards.  With a low KH, you need _less_ CO2 to drop the
pH, not more.  With a KH of 2, 14.8 mg/l of CO2 will give you a pH of 6.6.
With a KH of 4, you'd need 30 mg/l to achieve the same pH.
