Michael, my stargrass takes on the same appearance under similar
conditions. I removed it to a punishment tank where it has been
for the last two months -no nutrients, no light, no current. It
seems fine, but I don't know what to do with it. It's very fragile
and delicate. Maybe it would do best in a small aquarium.

Perhaps it dislikes CO2 injection, soft water and low pH. It's
a good question.
