I am using verilux flourescent for my tanks and I am quite satisfied. I
orderd them direct from Verilux for about $17 each (incl. shipping). Never
seen them in hardware stores though. How much did you pay for them ? Also
had pretty goodluck with the regular Plant and Aquarium light (2X15 watts0
for a 10 gal low tech tank with vals. With only PMDD once in a while.
