flat Cryptocorynes
I have some Cryptocoryne lucens growing in a 20g tank under 4 20watt
Corallife Trichromatic fluor. bulbs. They are growing well, but very flat.
I would like to change their growth to be more upright.
I read in back issues of TAG that Diana Walstad and others have had results
in getting their crypts to "stand taller" by using light with more
emphasis in the red/far red area. At the time the TAG was written, lights
recommended to accomplish this included incandescent (not an option for
me), Sylvania Gro Lux WS and possibly VitaLite.
Does this still represent current wisdom? Thanks for the help,
