Jeez, I should read all your posts at once before replying :-).

You have a rich substrate AND substrate heating coils?  Hopefully, the
convection currents aren't carrying excess nutrients (those not bound
to negative binding sites) OUT of the substrate and into your water.
There may be no telling what nutrients are in your rich substrate.
Hopefully, you haven't added houseplant fertilizer sticks or the like.
