I am fairly sure there is more than one species available.  There are FW
filter feeding shimp in South America, Africa and Asia... probably other
places as well.  The species I have, and seems to be commonly available in
this area is Atyopsis moluccensis.  This was confirmed by sending specimens
to the Simthsonian for ID.
