I am converting from an UGF to an external filter. Can anyone tell me the difference between canister and wet-dry units, (working principles, pros-cons). Also does anyone have experience with Eheim brand? Sorry for all the questions lately, but this is a new hobby and I would like to keep mistakes to a min. Iv've made to many already.
