Does anyone have any ideas on desirable water column target levels for
potassium (in a well lit, CO2 supplemented, heavily planted tank)?
I may be having some success measuring K+ with a "Horiba Compact Ion
Meter." I haven't found any interferences with the typical stuff we add to
our planted aquariums and reference solution tests seem to be coming out
okay. (This statement will no doubt jinx the effort entirely.)
The terrestrial plant buddy of mine (Ph.D. in P and K metabolism of wine
grapes) who lent me the meter thought the target might be as much as 100
ppm? How does that sound?
