In agreeement with Karen, I have collected Java Fern that has somehow become an established plant in the "Pine Barrens" in New Jersey -- dark, acid water in which the "Pigmy Sunfish" are found. This plant has "wintered" for years. Merrill <amc2 at ix_netcom.com
