     It is true KNO3 is one of the ingredients in gunpowder and other 
     explosives, but it won't explode by itself.  Those other ingredients 
     are necessary, along with an ignition source.  Table sugar can be made 
     to explode, also, as well as a myriad of other compounds.
     
     There is already enough "chemophobia" on this list without 
     unnecessarily alarming people.  Thanks to you, someone out there is 
     now afraid to try PMDD or even fertilize their garden.  Let's stop 
     this discussion now.
