     I got my K2SO4 and KNO3 from the Light Manufacturing Company in 
     Portland Oregon (www.litemanu.com) or 1-800-669-5483.
     
     I believe I spent about $2/lb for each, and shipping was about the 
     same.  They delivered in a week.
     
     These chemicals aren't explosive.  I think your order just wasn't big 
     enough to suit them.
