(and not killed) is Elodea (Anachris) and Vallisneria.  Certainly, they
are not hurt as much a bleach would!  Aquari-Sol  kills the trophonts of
Ichthyopthirus so that these "spores" cannot go back and attack the fish.  
Actually, a little copper is good for the plants -- check out many of the
"Trace Elements" in fertilizers.  I believe that I remember some in PMDD.
Just follow directions and "it works"!
