DIY Cooler/Chiller

Onis Cogburn,
Thanks for your reccommendation to ARRL. I bought a water fountain from a
university surplus for $5.00 with the idea of converting it to an aquarium
chiller and it seem to work. In fact my original idea was to use a dorm
refridgerator for the same purpose which if it works, is still cheaper than
a aquarium chiller. I hooked it up to a small powerhead and checked the
temperature at the outlet, which was about 50F; the tank water temp was at
74F with a flow rate of about 15 GPH. Thought you might want to know.
