Subject: ?toxic effects of lead plant weights on fish in aquariums

ITRI Ltd is an R&D organisation concerned with finding new uses for tin.
Many of our projects are replacing lead in environmentally sensitive
applications. 

We are aware that lead plant weights are used in aquariums and that
under certain conditions lead can have toxic effects on some aquatic
life. We are trying to find out whether there is any evidence of effects
of lead plant weights on growth, health or reproduction of fish in
aquariums.

Can you help or point us in the direction of someone who can?
