I've used Coppersafe at full strength in snail-infested tanks with no
visible loss of snails after 2 weeks, so I don't imagine a diluted,
short-term bath will accomplish much.  Even the now-unvailable "official"
copper-based snail-a-cides took days to weeks to work.
