Yay, my new aquarium has arrived for pick-up so I can start designing my paludarium. Anyone have any ideas on how to get good pieces of wood at reasonable prices? Stores around here want $20 for a little piece. What kind of ordinary wood will be okay (if any)? Can I boil or dry certain woods to make them safe? Anyone have a nice big swamp behind their house full of choice pieces of root? :) Olga in Vancouver
