Rio Negro plants

Hello,

I am planning a Rio Negro (Brazil) biotope, but so far I have been lacking
to get any specific information about vegetation of that river.

Apparently there are some Echinodorus-species, but which? Hydrocotyle
leucocephala has been mentioned to originate from Brazil, but does it grow
in Rio Negro as well?

I would be most grateful from any information concerning the aquatic
vegetation of Rio Negro.
