Mike:

I brought in several varieties of Cryptocoryne plants that were "tissue 
cultured" from Holland a little over 4 years ago.  They were hardy; 
took a great deal of abuse and never suffered the Cryptocoryne 
"melting" that usually occured when a change of lots of water was done. 
I still have them growing profusely. These were not in "rock wool" yet!
