Algae-eating "sharks"




I suspect that the Otos are more to "blame" for the reduction in algae 
but yes, Labeos (actually, it's now in a different genus but I can't 
remember which one offhand) are herbivorous.  Both my L. bicolor and 
frenatus are steady consumers of algae.
