Everyone's been talking about growing duckweed as a nitrate remover,
but how about an easier plant to remove when overgorwn like Frogbit?
This stuff absolutely takes over the tops of my plant tanks within
a week or two and is large enough to be able to remove easily.
Does this plant just not produce as much biomass as duckweed (frogbit
leaves have a lot of air spaces in their leaf undersides) or is it
that duckweed is usually free :)
Just a thought..
