Thanks, Hoa. My information regarding 32 watt fluorescent bulbs was from my
local Electric Power Company and the local Electrical Wholesale supplier.
 According to THEM, they are unable to get any more 40watt two pin lamps,
period. They tell us here that any lamps not already "in the pipeline" cannot
be imported.  It did seem a bit abrupt. (!!!) :-D  I would presume the
Phillips folks have more carefully read the statutes!  

I notice that all of the "new" incandescent lamps on their shelves conform to
the regulations you so generously researched and posted.
