I bought a couple of swords from Mike at Delaware Aquatics, which he called
Echinodorus uruguayensis. I haven't seen this name anywhere else though. Two
of them have been growing extremely well in my tank for the past 8 months or so.
Many dark green, narrow leaves per plant, leaves spreading fairly widely and
reaching just to the surface but not above (18" or so) Fast grower and very
pretty. Perhaps E. muriatus is a synonym for E. uruguayensis. BTW, they weren't
20 bucks per plant from Mike. more like 5 or 6.
