The real thing...?

According to (the very helpful and knowledgable) Charlie at The Pet
Shanty these are the real thing. He mentioned to me today (on a return
visit to purchase a plant or two) that these are the real guys, not the
false Siamensis.

To describe them, they are 1" long, with a thick jagged edge black stripe
from the mouth through the tail. They are three colors, whitish silver
on bottom, black stripe and a drab brown upper body with clear fins. I
cannot make out any barbels.

The only thing is I have yet to see them peck at my algae!

Well, jury still out?
