Snails

I´ve lots of small brownish snails (1-5 mm) that are eating my plant-leaves in my 15 gallon tank.  I have soft water - a couple teaspoons salt and DIY CO2 injection.
Fishwise I only have a few small groups of small tetras.

Is there any smart way to get/keep the number of snails down?
