I would like to grow several aquarium plants and my water is naturally hard. Normally, I draw water for aquarium use from my outside facets. The hard water is great for Cichlids. I get a lot of direct sunlight and sometimes block it out. What plants will grow well in hard water? Some plants that I like are Ludwigia, Anacharis, Cabomba, Hornwort, Vallisneria, et.
/_Vallisneria spiralis_/ grows everywhere. We've had one strain that Chuck Rambo swears he brought back from Lake Tanganyika and that we've kept alive in a 60-gallon with just sand on the bottom and 2x32W T8 bulbs for several years.
Hornwort is also found in Lake Tanganyika. - Erik -- *Erik Olson* /Proudly joining 21st Century e-mail in 2013/ _______________________________________________ Aquatic-Plants mailing list Aquatic-Plants at actwin_com http://mailman.actwin.com/mailman/listinfo/aquatic-plants
