I can still find t-5 bulbs online, as well as in a local shop in my town that sells hydroponic gardening equipment. These specialty shops might be your best bet if you don't want to purchase them on the internet. Local fish stores can order them for you usually if they don't already supply them but it will be at a stiff price. The only other fluorescents I've seen in the big box stores are the older model T-8 or T-12's.

While we are on the subject, does anyone know how long the lights last or is there a way to replace the ones that burn out? Or does anyone know a source to buy t-5 bulbs? It seems the major catalogs are converting to selling only LED lighting. I have never used them and have worries.
