My father was "born in a log cabin" (clapboard two room house) and grew up
less than a mile away.  He'll be SO happy to see your photos.

Supposedly "coons" and the water cress from the Jack's Fork river kept the
family from "dyin' of starvation" during the winters in the '30s and early
'40s.
