I concur - raising the temp did the trick when my clown loaches and cardinal 
tetras had ich.  I had a bad heater and didn't realize it because I had one 
of those cheap stick-on thermometers. The tank temp was too cold and 
fluctuated too much.

Now I have a new heater and better thermometer and no ich!
