[APD] Crypts

Hi All,
 
Anyway to set up water  for Crypt. friendly tank so that you won't get  die 
back as soon as you introduce the plant? Any particular gravel bests for  these 
plants and would you use a substrate for them also? How about CO 2 for  them?
