I no longer use thread for attaching anything if there are smallish fish in
the tank.  I've had a couple work their way under thread and get trapped.
In regards to the expected chorus of "tie it tighter", I tied it as tightly
as I could.  A dab of silicon works and is safe, even for Klutzes like me.
