Wow, it's been years since I've been active in this group.

Quick question: How long do water conditioners which "neutralize  
heavy metals such as iron" remain effective in the tank? I picked up  
some Tetra AquaSafe but would like to add iron & potassium  
supplements for my plants. How long after adding the water  
conditioner should I wait before adding the iron?
