As mentioned, that are many mosses out there.  Probably 6-8 common ones 
in the hobby and some that are more rare.  Subwassertang is a form of 
algae but its more like moss in growth habits.  It is not a bad thing.  
In addition you have Bolbitis, 4species of Microsorium (java fern), 
Riccia, a few species of liverworts, ie Pellia, many species of anubias 
and even a few "regular" plants, like Hemianthus callithictroides that 
can be tied to wood and allowed to grow.    Check out the PlantFinder at 
Aquatic Plant Central and you cna search all their plants.  Its not a 
complete list but it is a very good one.
