It has been demonstrated that "pain" in human beings has a significant
emotional content. Since the lower animals do not have the kind of emotions
that we have, if they have any at all, I believe that they do not feel pain
the way that we do.

But they still might feel something unpleasant.  That's why I suggest that
the way to dispose of them is do destroy brain tissue, and to do it quickly.
