Re: [APD] 10,000K CF

There's not direct correlation between color temperature and the amount of light output. Diff bulbs can have higher or lower otuput than others regardless of color temp.

Subject: [APD] 10,000K CF

I plan to change the bulbs in my Coralife Aqualight. At present it has four
65Watt 6700K bulbs in it. In my new setup, I will be planting a lot of
Hairgrass in the foreground, and as this plant does better in high light, I
would like to put two 10,000K bulbs in the front. Do you think it will
help, or will it be too bright ? Thanks for any input. Thanks.

Dave
