This is the best time of year to go looking for sand in our parts!  
Your local hardware store (Ace, TrueValue etc...) will be stocking  
traction sand. It's a bigger grit than the play sand, which tends to  
be too fine, especially if you're going to wind up with any digging/ 
rooting Africans.
