That's just HNO3 - the nitrate anion without its usual cation companion. 
Although it's in a novel form (for aquatic plant tanks), it's still just 
NO3. The reason I wonder about ammonia is because it's about $2 per 
gallon and plants like it. That and the fact that it is associated with 
algae has me curious about it.
