        The leaning effect of the fish tickled my interest in more than
one way.. did you try setting up a function generator, setting it to say
Sine wave of 0.5 Hz or Cycles if it is still in use in the US.. and seeing
if the electric field influences the fish to change direction?

        A very interesting display could be setup with various fish, 
wave forms and amplitudes! The Booth effect?
