I've got no loaches, just a mish-mash of rasboras, neons, cherry barbs,
SAEs, ottos, BN plecs and 1 random apisto - and I can't get ANY snails to
take hold in my 75.  Well planted, well fed most days, high GH and 6.7 pH.

I've no clue why and I've introduced MTS, ramshorn, pond and some odd
variety with a small ramshorn shell that lays flat instead of sticking out.

Nothing will take hold.  Heck, I'm even open to suggestions.
