Not always. The market bears a higher price for organics, so that's
where the demand-price equilibrium is.

It's not the food that's the problem ... it's the pesticides and the
effect the farming practices have on arable land. Organic isn't about
the food being "different," but about not eating malathion and atrazine
with your salad and not contributing as much to polluted runoff in
streams, groundwater pollution, etc.
