Re: [APD] PMDD AND PHOSPHATE LIMITATION STRATEGY

You have to hang loose if you want to keep up language, Jerry ;-) Especially in a hobby or trade or other "select" congregation, where word use is subject to all sorts of wiggily, squiggly. Some folks are just plain argotistical. The necessary and sufficient condtions for attributing synonomy are absent. But it's a lot like names of plants and fish -- loose at best, subject to confusion, and sometimes defying logic.

Personally, I prefer ostensive reference -- excuse my argot is getting the better of me -- I meant I prefer pointing as the best form of reference. But it's difficult to apply to email.

Yes, PMDD is low in phosphates. So is Tropica MasterGro. No one says
Tropica MasterGro is a phosphate limitation strategy. It's just a
micronutrient solution. It's a physical, tangible thing. PMDD is just
the offhand name given to a recipe for a do-it-yourself Tropica
MasterGro/Dupla Drops mix. I suppose I am having a lot of trouble with
this because I can't make the logical connection between the two no
matter how hard I try. I don't understand referring to an ethereal,
abstract concept by the name given to an unrelated physical, tangible
thing. Where does the connection happen?
