Well ya, but after spending $25 on good quality black three-prong cords, 
I don't want to ;)

I think I found a way out. If I glue something to the side of the plug 
it won't go into a wall socket, but will still attach to the female end 
of the extension cord. Of course it will plug in to any other 
three-prong extension cord also, but that would take some purposeful action.
