5mls is liquid, not dry.
I use teaspoons(or if you like grams, but many don't have
accurate scales)for dry powders.

Examples: Flourish, tropica master grow(TMG), Sera etc
If you use plantex CMS+B, 2 tablespoons in 500ml of DI water.
Then 5mls of that, but TMG is my preferred trace.
