We have two that do a nice job controlling mystery snails.  we have to go in
and pull the shells out.  We even now will buy plants at the local chain pet
store specifically because their plants are infested with mystery snails to
keep the two loaches happy.  (Why pay a 3bux for a snail when they'll come
with the plants for free.)  :D
