A while ago for a reason I no longer remember, I put those peat plates in
the bottom of my tank and covered over with substrate. I just tested my GH
and it's less than 1. Should I be concerned? Will this have a negative
impact on my plants? Is there anyway to increase gh without ripping my tank
down and removing the peat? Will adding equilibrium help? Or will the peat
just laugh it off and keep the GH at 0?
