I would agree with that sentiment wholeheartedly. However, I don't think 
it has any meaning in the context of what makes humans different than 
other animals in terms of feeling pain, discomfort, or anguish. In fact, 
I think humans do bear a greater responsibility because we have the 
capacity to understand the consequences of our actions, and the ability 
to choose to do otherwise.
