No one mentioned flaws. I was just musing over something
:-)

Nothing prohibits anyone from asking a plant question or
talking about plants. If such prohibitions were present, I
might view it as a flaw.

In fact, when talk about plants gets low, people tend to
talk about talking about plants (like we're doing in this
thread) or talk about not talking about plants rather than
just talk about plants.
