Without disparaging any of the others available, I
recommend the LaMotte tests for nitrates and phosphates.
For those that desire a less expensive alternative, the
Seachem tests.

Of course, with a water quality report from your water
supplier, regular dosing and large water changes, you can
control the levels pretty well without any testing.
